Research Interests

My research experience, including my current situation as post-doctoral research fellow (“assegnista di ricerca”) at the Department of Economics of the University of Siena is characterized by an ongoing curiosity with and concern for experimental economics, behavioral economics, decision theory and neuroscience. I study human behaviors emerging from the interplay of cognitive and emotional systems. My research agenda includes two main projects. The first one concerns the role of emotions in social and individual decision making, and the second is aimed at investigating the relational complexity in social interaction.
